It was OK but not great - 
I bought three books and this one was OK
Not a terrible book but not the best either

Very helpful book -
This book has answered many questions for us as first time parents. It's easy to read and easy to navigate. I would highly recommend this book...so much so that we now give a copy as a gift to all new parents we know!
Best baby prep book thus far, and I've bought a lot -
So far the most succinct, easy-to-use, informative reference book for new baby. The info appears to be very up to date -- unlike some of the other books on the market that actually have misinformation that can harm baby -- and the tone of the book is very helpful and direct. It's great for reading front to back to prepare you for what's ahead, and even moreso an excellent spot reference book for the up-to-the-minute problems encountered.

I love this book. It not only comes in handy when you need it but it is also helpful for many things you will need to know and come to know. I love that it also helps explain development and first aid. You absolutely have to have this one in your collection.

Excellent book, except form factor -
This is a wonderful book for parents. It provides a lot of useful information to help put first time parents at ease. The sections on birth and the first few weeks of feeding helped us understand whether we were on track with quantities of breast milk.
The book continues with good information on hygine, pooping/peeing, vaccinations, and has become a frequently-accessed reference. Many sections are organized in a way that you can find information on your baby according to his/her current age, which is helpful.
I would give this book 5 stars except for one issue I consider significant - it's almost impossible to read while holding your baby! The book measures 10x5x1.5 inches, and if you try to keep it open with one hand, it slaps shut. And, it won't stay open by itself on a flat surface.
Ability to read the book while taking care of the baby would have been a huge plus.
