Boxes Book - 
I am very,very happy with this book. I am very much into scroll sawing and this is a new way to make boxes and many new patterns. Easy to follow and understand instructions with many pictures. Sort of out of the box box making....sorry for the pun !!

Variations on a theme -
This is a good book. I have to admit that I was expecting a little more variety in terms of design and method than what's here. It may be that my expectations were the problem, though; this is a scrollsawing book, not a woodworking book, so the range of methods is necessarily going to be a little narrower.
That said, the designs are all tasteful and of high quality. There's nothing here of the "why would anybody bother to make THAT?" variety. And the instructions are very clear and very accessible to the beginner--just what readers have come to expect from its author, who has taught so many scrollers through her books and articles. I bought this book as part of a bundled discount and have no regrets.
Easy, but elegant custom boxes -
This book arrived promptly. The instructions were detailed, illustrated by photos, and easy to follow. I have made one box and was very pleased with the product. One is only limited by one's own creativity with this set of instructions. By the way, I have only been scrolling for a year, so these projects are an easy do for the less experienced scroller.
wooden boxes -
I found this book excellent. With my skills the products came to life from the pages. I make these products for sale for the Royal Flying Doctor Service and all profits go to them. I am eagerly awaiting my other two books. Denis Dack.

Nice plans and clear directions. -
I used this book to create my first few projects and if I can do it I'm sure others can. The directions are straight forward and the plans are nice. It is really quite simple.
Only down side is this book doesn't explain too much about the information beginners may need to start right away. I had to use some internet sources and another book to 'learn' how to use the scroll saw and what some of the language meant. With the beginning info under my belt, however, I photo copied the plans and went to work and the boxes I made were very nice....at least thats what the gift receivers said. ;)
