CUSTOMER REVIEWS:
Very Good! -

We are looking forward to root cellaring our harvest of fall veggies and apples this year, so this is something we are looking very forward to using. Looks like there's a wealth of info on how to do the root cellaring and food storage using a variety of choices for the cellar/storage area. REALLY looking forward to using the different techniques. Easy read, very entertaining.

Everything Old is New Again -

This book details many long forgotten skills which may become vital in these uncertain social and economic times. It is listed in my Catholic Rural Solutions Yahoo Group as a must read item.

Great reference book and "hands-on" book to own! -

This is a wonderful book to own! I first got it from the library & bought it before I had to return the library book!
The book is just so full of practical & usable information for anyone interested in keeping fresh fruits & veggies longer than their normal storage life, with lots of drawings and black & white photos.
Even if you don't have a huge garden, or no garden & mainly buy your produce at Farmer's Markets or roadside stands, I think you will find alot of usable information in this book!
My copy has a sturdy, water-resistant cover too!
I also highly recommend "The New Seed-Starter's Handbook" by Nancy Bubel (my copy has a 1988 copyright!), and "Seed to Seed", by Suzanne Ashworth (2002)..
Go ahead... get them all from the library first, and then BUY THEM!
