I purchased this book over a year ago as a christmas present for my then, 12 year old. We have been using it every since, he reads it now and again. I have four boys, so this will get plenty of use! We are currently in the process of building the tree house for all four of them. My husband is at Home Depot as I write this, he just called asking what size screws he needed ..... LOL. It is so nice to see my three older sons and my husband bond over this project .... they are 13, 10, 7 and 2 - Great bonding experience!!!

the dangerous book for boys is not only every boy's dream, but a fascinating book for both genders and all ages. the authors put in everything they thought a boy would like to know: from how to sharpen a knife and make a battery out of quarters and foil, to how to play rugby and vignettes of the lives of heros throughout the ages. just reading these little tales of courage make it one of the most inspiring books around. it is a book full of ideas and activities that use a child's imagination and physical skills. my grandsons think it is more fun than a computer game. and their grandmother enjoyed reading it every bit as much as they did.
